Inter-Schools Rugby League tournament to continue from next week

The Inter-Schools Rugby League tournament will continue from next week, according to the Minister of Sports.
Earlier, the Inter-Schools Rugby League was halted following clashes which took place during previous matches.
Minister of Provincial Councils, Local Government & Sports Faiszer Musthapha had ordered to postpone the remaining matches while instructing the Sri Lanka Rugby Referees Society to not permit any referees for the schools rugby games.
The games involving Wesley College Vs Royal College, Maliyadeva College Vs St. Thomas’ College, D. S. Senanayake Vs Science College had been interrupted by fans as games ended up in an unruly manner last week.
